To come to someone's wedding does not seem to be the most important task: to come, to celebrate, to congratulate a couple, to dance. But there are a few things that a wedding guest should never do.
1. Do not respond to the invitation.
If you are invited to a wedding, and you plan to attend it, then respond to the invitation as soon as possible. So the couple will wait for you and leave you a place.
2. Be late.
The invitation indicates the time. The time when the bride and groom will marry. Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes earlier.
3. Do not come at all.
If you told the couple that you will come, you must come! If something changes at the last minute, try to warn about it as soon as possible so that your seats at the table are not empty or that the newlyweds do not pay extra money for your part of the festive dinner.
4. Wear white.
Unless the invitation indicates a white dress code, wedding guests should not dress in the color of the bride. The same goes for different shades of white.
5. Do not respect the attendants.
Be polite to all who work this evening: from the driver to the toastmaster. You are a reflection of the couple, so do not spoil their reputation.
6. Get drunk.
Of course, drink and walk. But know the measure and do not get drunk. This is not your day, so do not spoil the holiday with your friends.
