Experts from Oxford found out that for teenage girls reading is the only activity that may positively affect their professional activities in the future.

As it was established in the course of the study, girls who, as a teenager, were fond of reading books, became leaders more often in their field. The probability of getting a high post for them was 39%, but for those who did not like to read books, 25%.

Researchers attribute this to the fact that reading books in undergrowth develops eloquence, which helps produce a good impression on the employer.
